So. Ever wonder why the eff you didn't see the potential hotness in someone?

I recently got in touch with an old friend via facebook. We hung out a few times in HS. He was a big geek and we really never had a one-on-one conversation. He kept to himself for the most part except for a few close friends. Totally not my scene in high school. I was into the fast cars and the jocks. Didn't really notice that he was tall. I just saw him as the pale kid that was quiet.

Now I see pictures of him. And his adventures. Goofing off. Being a STUD. Like... HOT. Like... I can see him as my husband and us getting along really well if we ever had a chance to live in the same city. Geez. I really want to get to know him as who he is now. Not just because he's hot now. (although, that is the biggie!) But because everything that he sends can be a little lame sometimes, but I can see why he posts them. Make sense? Like how I post blabber here and on mainpage. Just BECAUSE. As an archive. As my witness to what I'm doing in my life.

I dunno. I think he's worth that little extra effort. Dude. Why didn't I notice him before in high school? GEEEEEZ mar.

I miss him. I think I just miss how we looked together. We were a good lookin couple. Like... LIPS. =) Too bad our personalities clashed so bad. I still think we would superclash if we ever picked up again.

So where did that come from? I was looking through old photo albums. The one in particular had the photos of our brief romance. (then again... it lasted just as long as Nick and I, huh?) And I just kept going. Like it was going to change. I watched us in HS shamelessly flirting. Watched as our romance developed in Disneyland. And then the deteriation of it. UGH. I dunno. He was a stepping stone for Brian, I suppose.

I dunno. I think I just want a boyfriend at this point. I don't really know if I would have very much time for him, but you know what... we'll figure it out. Always do, right?

Still hung up on Nick. Trying not to be. I just want him to tell me to my face that there will never be a friendship.
